With the help of all of you who came out for "The Jam for Life", all of the musicians who gave their time and talents, the wonderful people at Joseph's Grille, our volunteers who helped make the day work.....and the spirit of giving that was the glue that kept the day going, we were able to raise over $4,450 to help transplant related causes. I have already presented checks to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Transplant House, The Gift of Life Donor Program and we helped jump start Mike Snyder's fund to go to this coming summer's Transplant Games in Pittsburgh.

Everyone who had a part in a fantastic day should be very proud. I am extremely grateful to all of you. God Bless You All......PapaCarl

In January '08 we will begin planning for next year's Jam and other events to raise donor awareness and help transplant causes. The goal will be to create a " Jam for Life Foundation " and make sure we can continue to do this kind of work. I know it can make a difference. We are even making plans to do some special shows for patients and families involved in the transplant process. Transplants save lives...it is a gift of love......and art and music is the best way I can think of to express that love.
